Argentinian Anahi Esther Sanchez (12-0, 5 KOs) retains her interim WBA title in front of her home fans on Saturday.
Sanchez dominated Venezuelan Ana Lozano (11-4, 8 KOs) with two knockdowns in the first stanza before the referee stopped the bout at 1:59 on the 3rd round.
This was Sanchez’s first defense of the title since she obtained it from Dahiana Santana in August by decision.
