Alicia AshleyThe stage was set for the vacant WBC Womens Super Bantamweight title showdown of Brooklyn’s Alicia “Slick” Ashley and Ireland’s Christina McMahon back on Tuesday, September 15th but was postponed due to logistics dilemma.

That day is coming… Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Aviator Sports and Events Center.

Ashley is seeking to regain her lost title, while McMahon jumps up a division from holding the interim WBC Women’s Bantamweight crown.

Ashley enters the bout with a 22-10-1 record with 4 KOs, having lost here title to Jackie Nava by decision in September of 2014. She rebounded late in 2014 with a definitive TKO7 over Grecia Nova to get back on track to this championship bout.

Christina McMahonOn the other side of the ring, we have McMahon who is putting her undefeated status on the line at 7-0 with 3 KOs. McMahon captured the interim WBC Bantamweight title in May by traveling to Zambia and earning a decision win over previously undefeated and hometown favorite Catherine Phiri.

This championship match is destined to be explosive.
