KIKA AND FUJIOKA VISIT ORPHANAGE
The DIF Ecatepec orphanage had an unforgettable afternoon, greeting the stars of the main boxing event of this weekend in Mexico.
Yessica “Kika” Chavez and Naoko Fujioko shared an amazing day with the kids, as they presented them with gifts. But they were not the only ones to receive something, as both boxers felt both love and motivation from the youngsters.
Amidst the social program, which is integral part of the weekly agenda, in the run up to Saturday night and the big fight at the Regional center of Ecatepec, the world champion and her challenger, set aside rivalry to focus on the children.
The boxers toured “Casa Hogar Ecatepec”, led by Tabata Rojas Muciño. More than 120 children are living in this facility. All of them enjoyed an amazing day that they’ll never forget, and which will help motivate them.
“Seeing the children is something wonderful. I really enjoy these opportunities, as sharing with kids is something I will take with me forever,” explained Kika.
