Flint, MI’s Claressa Shields (7-0, 2 KOs) stays perfect on her young career while collecting more hardware on Saturday night in Kansas.

In another unification bout, the WBA and IBF Champion hammered away at the longer reaching Rankin’s body and head using her rapid hands and footwork.

There is no denying that Shields may have the fasted hands and stamina in the world.

She got inside and clocked away at point controlling attacks to cruise to the one-sided victory.

Rankin struggled finding the effective range but consistently found slipping hooks that cracked Shields’ face. But they were far less in quantity to factor.

Rankin was persistent and took everything Shields threw. You have to give her credit for her strength and championship demand.

Official scores: 100-90, 100-90, 100-90

Now, we look to potentially March where there is a great possibility for the Shields vs. Christina Hammer showdown. News will be coming soon.
