“OZ” COURSE! SHIELDS AND ADLER ALIGHT THE WBC 30 DAYS PRE WEIGH IN
Double Olympic gold medallist Claressa Shields challenges World Boxing Council super middleweight champion Nikki Adler on August 4th, in Motor City Detroit, in an extravaganza of Salita Promotions.
This will be the first opportunity to win a world crown for Shields, and in just her fourth professional fight. Claressa currently holds the NABF and WBC Silver belts.
And the world champion, Nikki Adler, will have her first match on North American territory. She’s built a superb career in Europe, maintaining her unbeaten record in 16 bouts!
Both warriors showing their great professionalism, sent to the WBC headquearters their 30 days pre weigh in. All the pre weigh ins and medical examinations required by the World Boxing Counil, are specifically intended to protect the health and well being of fighters who contest a world crown.
Claressa reported a weight of 166.6 pounds, while Nikki tipped 170.4 pounds. The limit for the super middleweight division is 168 pounds.
