2015 has come to a close, but was more of a preview to how #WomenofBoxing sport continues to grow globally.
European boxing has embraced female boxing as many athletes grind and grow in the sport.
Ewa Brodnicka took to the ring four times in 2015, pounding and pounding for respect and glory. December 19th’s bout against Elfi Philips capped the year with her second piece of hardware in the EBU Lightweight title by a strong showing in her native country of Poland. Fans around the globe honored her accomplishment, voting her as the top performer of December.
Brodnicka is not padding her record, she is attacking the world. In 2015, she faced all winning record opponents with a combined 28 wins to only 6 loses, including a September victory over countrywoman and previously undefeated Ewa Piatkowska in September.
This EBU crown adds to her WBF Intercontinental title that she claimed in 2014.
At 10-0, with 2 KOs, Brodnicka is a woman on the move with maybe a showdown with Delfine Persoon on the horizon.
Congrats to the Champ!
