WBC Women’s Interim World Minimumweight Championship
Tina Rupprecht vs. Anne Sophie Da Costa
After winning the WBC Silver Minimumweight title in October 2016, Tina Rupprecht became the mandatory challenger to fight World Champion Yuko Kuroki from Japan.
At the WBC Convention in Baku, “Tiny Tina” and her team requested the championship to be ordered. Because Kuroki is already scheduled to face World Atomweight Champion Momo Koseki in a huge fight for Japan, Rupprecht will get the chance to fight for the Interim World Championship against French veteran Anne Sophie Da Costa.
