Christina Hammer improves to 18-0, with 8 KOs, as she successfully defended her WBO Middleweight crown in Germany on Saturday.
Kali Reis (7-4-1, 3 KOs) came across the pond to challenge the highly regarded Hammer in her own backyard.
Reis landed a vicious right hook that put the Top 10 P4P Queen to the canvas in the 10th round, but it was too little, too late. Hammer dominated rounds 1 through 9 for the Unanimous Decision win.
Scores: 98-91, 98-91, 98-91
To be able to hang with one of the sport’s best, is nothing for Reis to hang her head low for. Not many have put Hammer down.
I didn’t “loose” the fight I just waited too damn long to do what I did in the last round..No excuses I learned a lot. I’m of course gonna be pissed at myself as usual lol.
