As expected, the Argentina champions, Erica Farias (25-2, 10 KOs) and Ana Esteche (13-5-3, 2 KOs), waged a War for Honor at the Club Ferro Carril, Concordia, Entre Rios, Argentina on Friday evening.
The WBC Champ, Farias, drew first blood with a right cross dropping the WBA, WBO, and IBF Champ in the opening round.
The #1 and #2 Super Lightweights in the World fought a see-saw match, but the early knockdown proved to be the deciding factor as the bout was determined by the three judges ringside.
Official Scores: 96.5-95, 96-93 and 97-95 giving Farias the Unanimous Decision win in this non-title War for Honor to close out 2017.
