On Saturday at Hala Sportowa in Czestochowa, Poland, Brodnicka (15-0, 2 KOs) squared off against Canadian Sarah Pucek (8-3-1, 1 KO) in her first official defense of her WBO Super Featherweight Championship since Ramona Kuhne refused to face Brodnicka in Poland and was stripped of her title.
Brodnicka started out aggressively, overwhelming the visiting Pucek (challenging after winning her last four matches), cracking at the jaw with straight and stiff punches.
Pucek finally found room to answer the onslaught in the middle rounds, pressing forward as she fought with a huge heart.
Despite the resilience, the experience and determination of Brodnicka kept the belt with her.
Official Scores: 100-90, 99-91, 97-93

“Brodnicka was better than Pucek in all elements but Pucek shown good resistance to shots and good in inside.”
