Pantera’s silky skills – Erica Farias beats Klara Svensson in Denmark
WBC super lightweight Champion Erica “Pantera” Farias from the Pampas, prevailed in the lioness’s den traveling to Denmark to hunt down and defeat Interim Champion Klara Svensson (Sweden) by unanimous decision.
In an action packed fight Argentine Farias applied majestic pressure, dropping the “Swedish Princess” with a hard right hook in round five. After ten hard fought rounds, Judge Esa Lehtosaari (Finland) scored the bout 98-92, Fabian Guggenheim (Switzerland) had it 96-93 and David John Irving (Ireland) saw it 96-94, all in favor of the 30-year-old Champion. It was Farias’ 22nd win in her 23rd pro fight. While Svensson suffered her first loss after 15 straight wins.
