February 2015 #WomenofBoxing Boxer of the Month: AMANDA SERRANO

Winning for an unprecedented fourth time, Amanda Serrano demonstrated why she is the #1 Super Featherweight in the World with her ninth straight win by KO on February 21st.

“The Real Deal” Serrano demolished Marisol Reyes with an early match TKO in a scheduled 8 round bout in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Reyes’ only offense was to hold. That plan was noticed by the referee and warning was given. Into the third round and unable to hold, Reyes was rocked with a vicious attack that proved to be too much. Serrano’s attack ended the match at 1:44 in the third round.

Serrano continues to prove her nickname. The Real Deal moved to 23-1-1, with 18 KOs with the latest accomplishment. She currently holds the UBF and WBO world titles while progressing up the female P4P ranks, #theBIZ #theRANKINGS for P4P and Marketability.

The Champ has been won the claim by the fans in February 2013, August 2014, November 2014, and now February 2015 as she solidifies herself as one of the prominent faces of #WomenofBoxing as the sport continues to thrive. The female side of the game needs a face and this girl seems to be a solid top contender as every one of her matches is a true display of power and packed with entertainment.
