O.R. Promotions presents a mega Super Bantamweight showdown with their newly recrowned IBF Champion Marcela Acuna (47-7-1, 19 KOs) of Argentina and Venezuela’s WBA Bantamweight Champion Mayerlin Rivas (15-3-2, 10 KOs).
Acuna just reclaimed her title after temporarily loaning it to Daniela Bermudez in a defeat in April. In August, Acuna dominated Laura Griffa to reattain her belt.
Rivas is taking this as her first bout of 2018. Her last matchup was last November, a hard-fought Majority Draw against Dayana Cordero where she retained her strap.
The 42 year old Acuna does not look to slow down as the 30 year old re-enters active status.
Both have plenty of pop with those fists. We show have a pounding 10 rounds of action in Argentina.
