Friday night in MTK Scotland’s first ever female contest and the female athlete’s first match at home, Super Welterweight Hannah Rankin (4-1, 1 KO) put on a impressive quick show.
Rankin enthralled her home crowd from her entrance to the ring to having her hand raised in victory over 25 fight veteran Klaudia Vigh of Hungary.
Rankin apparently had a strategy going into this bout and went right on attack to the body of her opponent.
The right hand of Rankin was a destroyer, finding the mark to the body.
Vigh submit at 59 seconds into the scheduled 8-Round match, her shortest fight of her career, from the overpowering Scot.
Hannah Rankin has been hard at work with an impressive group of champions. She is seeming to be very entrenched into making a serious contention in her boxing career.
Congratulations Champ! We look forward to seeing your progress!
