Mexican Kenia Enríquez will make the third defense of the interim minimum light flyweight title of the World Boxing Council, against Venezuelan Leiryn Flores in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.
With a record of 21-1, 9 KO´s, Enriquez remains as favorite as she has defeated tough rivals Jessica Nery Plata and Norleidys Graterol. “China” Flores (16-1-1, 13 KOs), who`s just lost her unbeaten record to Lourdes Juarez in March in Mexico City, returns to Mexico, now with the possibility of conquering the WBC crown.
Top of the bill is legendary Jackie Nava (35-4-3, 16 KOs) and Argentine Marcela “Tigresa” Acuña (49-7-1, 20 KOs), in a rematch, where the Mexican seeks to avenge her defeat of 2009.
