“Loba” Muñoz back on attack track!
This Saturday at the Metro Workers’ Union Gymnasium in Mexico City, former world champion Zulina “Loba” Muñoz (48-2-2, 28 ko’s) will face Arely Valente (12-3-1) , 6 ko’s), in a card to be broadcast by Azteca 7.
Among the hunt objectives of “Loba”, is to recover the female super flyweight championship that was once her`s.
Zulina took a break in her boxing career due to the birth of her daughter Zulina Guadalupe, born on March 28 of this year- something which has more whetted her appetite to return.
The Former champion wants to again contest 115-pound division, keenly seeking a rematch against current champion Guadalupe Martinez, who defeated her for the WBC super flyweight title.
In another interesting fight, Silvia “Guerrerita” Torres (19-1-1, 6 ko’s) takes on Venezuelan Norleidys Graterol (10-1-0, 8 ko’s), in a promising combat scheduled for ten rounds in light flyweight division.
