Young Minimumweight, Fabiana Bytyqi (8-0, 3 KOs) of Czech Republic, has hit prospect status within her first 16 months of her career, grabbing the WBC Youth World Championship as well as the global attention as June 2016 Boxer of the Month.
In the SES Boxing Main Event on June 25th, Bytyqi stopped Teodora Bacheva in their rematch to retain the WBC title that she collected in March. The defending champion outboxed and overpowered the Bulgarian Bacheva before the challenger could not continue after the 7th Round of action.
Being only 20 years old and collecting her first belt merely one year after her professional debut, it validates why she is considered one of the most promising boxers to come from the Czech Republic.
In 2015, former WBO Light Middleweight champion Lukáš Konečný started training Fytyqi and influenced her signing to a promotions contract with European powerhouse promotions, SES Boxing, who’s stable includes her teammate Lucie Sedláčková (WBO European Featherweight champion) and WBO and WIBF Super Featherweight Champion Ramona Kühne. Bytyqi has complete support from SES and their stable as the promotion for votes came from many within the team.
The sky is bright for the #25 ranked Minimumweight in the world Fytyqi, with many options all over the Eastern and Western Hemisphere.
Congratulations to Fabiana Bytyqi! And we look forward to watching your prosperous future!
