Norwegian Katharina Thanderz improves to 12-0 with 2 KOs after dominating performance over Monica Gentili (6-11, 1 KO) on Saturday at Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Ludwigshafen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
Thanderz was quick to the punch and clearly outworked Gentili for the full 8 Rounds.
Official Scores: 80-72, 80-72, 80-72
This bout was Thanderz German debut and stamped her demands of taking on current WBC Super Featherweight Champion Eva Wahlström of Finland.
Wahlström has been without a championship win since she slipped by Melissa St. Vil in a controversial WBC title defense win in April, 2018. Since then, she took her first career loss to Unified Lightweight Champion Katie Taylor in New York in December followed by her seemingly controversial WBC title defending Draw weeks ago to Ronica Jeffrey.
Thanderz appears confident to change the landscape of the Super Featherweight division.
