THANDERZ CROWNED WBC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION
In Oslo, Norway, local fighter Katharina Thanderz defeated Valgerdur Gudstensdottir crowned International Champion of the World Boxing Council in the 135 pounds division.
For Katharina, it was the eighth fight of her career. As for Valgerdur, she was the first boxer from Iceland in the history of boxing, to fight for an international WBC title. The action was very competitive from the beginning, but Katharina finished the stronger, winning a deserved decision.
