On display at Madison Square Garden in New York Saturday evening, we saw another classic Taylor exhibition of skills as the punches came in fast an in overabundance against the WBC Super Featherweight Champion Eva Wahlström (22-1-1, 3 KOs).
Taylor clearly dissected her fellow undefeated foe through all 10 rounds, with lightning 4, 5 and 6-punch combos that consistently pounded away at the Lightweight challenger.
Wahlström still could not figure out the mastery of Taylor, after falling short in 6 amateur tries many years ago. This time, it took her 0 (losses) from her professional record.

Saturday’s triumph was the 12th for Taylor in just over 2 years of professional status and there is grander matches to come as the champ and her promoter, Matchroom Boxing, plan for matches with WBC Lightweight Champion Delfine Persoon, WBO Lightweight Champion Rose Volante, Multi-Divisional Champion Amanda Serrano, and Unified Welterweight Champion Cecilia Brækhus on their radar and in the plans.
2019 is definitely the year of the women and Taylor is leading a huge movement!
