From WBC:
Sister power boosts Little Lulu
Mexican national female flyweight champion and official challenger for the world title, Lourdes “Little Lulu” Juarez is eager to return to the ring this Saturday, fighting Gabriela “La Bonita” Sánchez at Sala de Armas, Mexico City, beamed by Televisa Deportes.
Lulu`s preparation is being completed under the watchful and discerning eye of her sister Mariana ‘Barby’ Juarez, who`s WBC female bantamweight champion, and coach Alejandro Camacho in order to get in the best shape for this eight rounds high risk duel, as Sanchez is one of the best Mexican fighters in this division.
The youngest of the Juarez Trejo sisters, says she is determined to make history along with the ‘Barby’ as the first Mexican pair of sisters to win absolute world titles and the first in the world to simultaneously achieve this with the crown of the prestigious World Council of Boxing.
With a record of 24 wins with two defeats, Lulu seeks to extend her four year streak without loss and become the new world champion, but first she faces this complicated and exacting test.
Lourdes is on the undercard led by undefeated WBC youth champion, Eduardo ‘Rocky’ Hernandez who will clash with Colombian Luis ‘Machete’ Diaz.
