The Japanese fighter is the current Asian champion endorsed by the World Boxing Council. She has a record of 9 wins and 1 loss, with 6 KO´s. By marked contrast, Mariana has a record of 45 victories, 17 KO´s and 9 losses. She has been world champion in three different categories. While the Japanese fighter comes to this fight after beating the experienced Thai Buasawan Wisetchat conquering the OPBF belt endorsed by the WBC. Mariana is fresh from her crown winning triumph against Catherine Phiri. The 28-year-old Japanese fighter had her only loss over compatriot Tamao Ozawa in her first opportunity for the continental belt.
