Former Olympian and prospect Mikaela Mayer (7-0, 4 KOs) of Southern California, contends for her first professional championship on Saturday at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
From Top Rank: “Mikaela Mayer (7-0, 4 KOs) will take on fellow unbeaten Vanessa Bradford (4-0-2, 0 KOs) in an eight-rounder for the vacant NABF super featherweight title. Mayer is coming off a third-round stoppage on Aug. 25 against former world title challenger Edina Kiss.”
Top Rank has been matching Mayer up with some quality competition during her early career bouts, sending her in with contenders Nydia Feliciano, Babdy Nansen, and Kiss.
Bradford is coming in from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, having last bang to a 4-Round draw against fellow unbeaten Shianne Gist in April of 2017.
