Los Angeles’ Mikaela Mayer (8-0, 4 KOs) let her hands do all the talking at CHI Health Center in Omaha, NE on Saturday Night.
Mayer’s heavy right hand was explosive on Edmonton’s Vanessa Bradford in their 8-Round matchup for the vacant NABF Super Featherweight Championship broadcast live on ESPN+
The US Olympian kept Bradford on her back foot for the first half of the bout as Mayer kept the point-gathering going.
After stunning Bradford in the fifth round, Mayer delivered a heavy overhand right that put her opponent to the canvas.
Bradford survived but could not muster up much of an offense on the taller Mayer.

With the clear Unanimous Decision victory, Top Rank must be contemplating a world title opportunity in the very near future for Mayer.
