Carden Combat Sports and Smittys Mid-west Boxing Club brought championship boxing to the very prosperous Midwest Plain States on Saturday evening.
University Plaza Hotel in Springfield, Missouri hosted a batch of what the world is going to soon experience with local talent.
Carden Combat Sports promoted Miranda “Lil Beastie” Adkins (5-0, 5 KOs) of Topeka, Kansas crushed Kansas City, MO’s Shania Ward (0-3) with a 1st Round stoppage to claim the WIBA International Light Flyweight Championship.
In the co-feature, Alicia “White Lightening” Acero (3-0, 2 KO) of Highlandville, MO stopped Kansas City’s Tatiana Williams (0-3) early for the WIBA International Featherweight Championship belt.
Kansas City’s Gold Glove Champion “Dangerous” Dani Bennett (1-0) made a successful professional debut, scoring the decision win over Springfield local LesSandra “The Hammer” Franklin (1-2-1, 1 KO).
