From MTK Global:
JONAS SET FOR BUSY LIVERPOOL SCHEDULE
Natasha Jonas is raring to go ahead of a busy period that sees her fight twice in Liverpool in the next three weeks.
Jonas (6-1-KO5) first makes her long-awaited return at the M&S Bank Arena on Saturday, before then fighting on an #MTKFightNight show at the Liverpool Olympia on April 19.
The former WBA International super-featherweight champion is excited to have the two fights in quick succession, especially with them both being in her hometown.
Jonas said: “The plan is to keep active and progressing, so getting these fights over the next few weeks is ideal. It’s great that they’re both in Liverpool too as the fans are always very supportive of me here.
“It’s always nice to fight in your hometown, and the fight in April will be my first time fighting in the Olympia. It’s a brilliant venue and very similar to York Hall, so I’m excited to get straight back in there and get more rounds in.
“First I’ve got this fight in the arena on March 30, and it’s good to finally have my comeback. I didn’t perform the greatest last time, so I’m going to right those wrongs.”
This week’s show at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool also features Liam Smith, David Price and Ged Carroll, while the card at the Olympia on April 19 includes Jazza Dickens, Brian Rose, JJ Metcalf, Alex Dickinson, Ged Carroll and many more.
