NINA STOJANOVIC VOWS TO KO ROCA ZAMORA
Three-time former champion, Nina Stojanovic will fight against female light flyweight World Boxing Council champion, Ibeth “Roca” Zamora, and she’s promising a spectacular finish.
Born in Belgrade, Serbia’s capital, Nina comes from a country in southeastern Europe where women’s boxing has grown by leaps and bounds in recent times and is highly motivated by her WBC title bout.
The fight will take place in the municipal gymnasium of the city of Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, with the fabled WBC crown that Ibeth holds at stake, with the support of Cerveza Victoria and Playboy Mexico, Promociones del Pueblo in association with De León Promotions on November 26 .
The European is very optimistic indeed and excited to face the world champion. And although she knows that the Mexican is listed as one of the best pound for pound on the planet, said she feels all the more motivated to triumph.
“I am very grateful to Ibeth for the opportunity that she is giving to me and very happy to travel to Mexico, I also thank my manager Luka Popovik for making the arrangements for the fight, as well as my coach Dusan Mileusnić, who has prepared me During this training camp. In my opinion we are both great fighters and the public will witness a great as well as memorable show. I have prepared for this for years and I have come absolutely determined to knock out the champion,” she audaciously pledged.
Stojanovic, 24, has fought most of her bouts outside Serbia, winning important victories in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Austria.
