This Friday (June 24th), Beijing, China is hosting another WBA Extravaganza with four titles on the line.
#WomenofBoxing will be on display as Noemi Bosques (10-6-2, 2 KOs) of St. Petersburg, FL, USA will faceoff against Alesia Graf (27-5, 12 KOs) of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany for the vacant WBA International Bantamweight Championship.
Bosques has been traveling the world, fighting big names all around, over the last year. So far this year, she has challenged WBC International champ, Mariana Juarez, in Mexico before jet-setting to New Zealand for close Majority Decision defeat at the hands of local favorite Michelle Preston. She will be looking to get her record back on winning track since her WIBF International title winning campaign in August of August and a follow-up victory in front of her home-base fans in October.
Graf has been challenging the top women on the planet for much of the past 10 plus years, holding GBU, WBFound, and WIBF titles. In recent years, she has worked her way into WBC title fights with Ana Maria Torres, Susie Ramadan, Zulina Munoz, and Yazmin Rivas but coming up short, adding 4 of her 5 total losses without her last 7 bouts.
Both challengers are looking to put their careers on championship winning and sustaining ways. This bout should be action packed as both have been working with strong sparring partners in preparation for this match.
