West Virginian striving Super Middleweight Samantha Pill (2-0) picks up her second victory of her early career on Thursday night, on the road in Louisiana.
At the Civic Center in Rayne, LA, Pill collects her second win in two career professional bouts with a Majority Decision edge over debuting local opposition – “Lady Beast” Kayla Williams. Pill’s height and reach provided the ability to keep the distance and plant the scoring jabs and crosses. Official Scores: 40-36, 38-38, 39-37
30-year old Pill is a destined and determined Super Middleweight that has great ambitions on redeveloping the sport in her homestate.

She moves up the pro ranks having not spent her amateur background within the USA Boxing ranks, but competing in Toughman competitions. Over time, her motivation shifted for something on the next level.
Training as much as she possibly can (with trainer Keith Barr), Pill is a supporting and supported by 2 children and an occupation of RN Supervisor.
What’s next for Pill… Keep on striving for any opportunity and to remind WV of professional boxing.
Pill advised #WomenofBoxing that there was opportunities to be matched with Mayweather Promotions’ Savannah Marshall. Due to lacking amateur background compared to Marshall, the Nevada State Athletic Commission would not approve the matchup.
As Pill’s career is progressing, it looks like Team Pill may be setting their sights on the former GB Amateur star- now turned professional and beyond.
