On Friday Night in Rosemont, IL, Sarah Curran (2-1) sent a message in the Welterweight Division by  dominating Toledo, OH’s Jenna Johlin-Thompson (1-1-1) over 4 Rounds.

Having success on Hitz Boxing’s shows in 2017 and at this venue – The Dome at the Ballpark, Curran came in prepared to out-manuever and bang on her visiting counterpart.

The head movement and lateral movement of “Savage” Curran allowed her the ability to continue jabbing towards her opportunities at overpowering combinations to the head and body.

The savage hooks kept racking up the points throughout, while unloading on a stationary Johlin-Thompson. The hammering hands were frequent and hard.

The 3-time amateur national champion could not keep up with the savage attacks of Curran.

Referee Lou Hall started watching Johlin-Thompson closely in the last 30 seconds of the 4th Round, as Curran backed her into her corner and unloaded a pounding flurry to end the match. The visitor survived to the final bell only to hear the scores from the judges.

Official scores: 40-36, 40-36, 40-36 for Curran.
