Friday, June 23rd in Chicago’s Suburban Rosemont, local (very local) female Welterweights Sarah French-Curran (0-1) and Amanda Ginski (debut) will square off on the undercard of Hitz Boxing and Round 3 co-promoted Rosemont Rumble.
The features of Rosemont Rumble are Mike Lee defending his IBF-USBA Light Heavyweight title against Aaron Quattrocchi, local favorite Mike Jimenez taking on Aaron Pryor Jr. in a highly anticipated rematch from their May 2016 Majority Draw, as well as the return of Don George. The feature bouts will be aired live on CBS Sports Network.
This female matchup will mark the return of slugger “Savage” French-Curran after her debut war with the tough Bertha Aracil (3-0, 2 KOs) last July.
Ginski will test the pugilist waters after a successful young career in kickboxing.
These two professional athletes reside within 10 miles of each other and train at local and competitive gyms in their area.
#WomenofBoxing is hoping to get at both of these ladies in the coming days.
The best seat to watch this women’s match is inside the Dome! As Bobby Hitz says, “Boxing… It’s Better Live!”
