In the main female attraction, world champion Alicia “The Empress” Napoleon-Espinosa (11-1, 6 KOs), of Lindenhurst, NY, will defend her WBA Super Middleweight title for the second time against undefeated world-ranked contender Schemelle Baldwin (3-0-1, 2 KOs), a four-time Golden Gloves champion from Newark, DE.
Former world champion Kali “KO Mequinonoag” Reis (15-7-1, 5), of Providence, RI is back in action in a 6 Round Junior Welterweight matchup with Patty Juarez (4-1), of Colorado. This will be Reis’ first time competing at Foxwoods and hopes for more opportunities to showcase her skills and global dominance in front of her local fans in the future.
Additionally, Bantamweight title hopeful Helen “Iron Lady” Joseph (16-3-2, 10 KOs), of Nigeria, looks to keep her winning ways going strong with a shot at a strap within reach in a 6 Round bout with Hungarian Martina Horgasz (5-3, 4 KOs). Let the bombs fly! This one will be explosive!
