Rupprecht- maximum effort…minimum title
German boxer Christina “Tina” Rupprecht won the World Boxing Council’s vacant female minimum weight title by defeating Costa Rican Yokasta Valle by unanimous decision, at the Ballhaus Forum in Munich, Germany.
The judges’ cards were 98-95, 97-94 and 97-94. Rupprecht remains unbeaten, harvesting her eighth victory, most of them in her country.
Valle’s record is now 13 wins and two defeats. In December, she lost against Japan’s Naoko Fujioka, in Tokyo.
