Kenya Enriquez ready to defend WBC crown
WBC interim light flyweight champion, Kenya Enriquez from Tijuana, will defend her crown on Saturday, May 25, at the baseball stadium in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, with Azteca 7 transmission.
Enriquez (21-1-0, 9 ko’s) will be defending her crown for the third time , on this occasion against the dangerous Venezuelan knockout artist Leiryn Flores (16-1-1, 13 kos).
Enriquez won the belt in May 2017 defeating Maria Salinas, and has defended the crown against Jessica Nery Plata and Norleidys Graterol.
Kenya is a strong champion blessed with technical boxing skills, but Flores, has knocked out her last eight opponents.
