ZULINA PASSES WBC 30 DAYS WEIGH IN
Mexican, Zulina Muñoz (46-1-2, 27 KOs) will be defending her WBC super flyweight title for the ninth time on July 2nd against the tough Argentinian, Vanessa Taborda.
This Thursday, she came to the WBC office to present the 30 days weigh in prior her commitment. This weigh in is ordered by the WBC in order to protect fighters by monitoring the gradual losing of weight.
Zulina comes from defeating Irish, Christina McMahon, on March 12th of this year.
Taborda, on the other hand, has a professional record of 8-6-3, she became popular after her fights with Mexican legend, Mariana “Barby” Juarez. In April, Vanessa, was defeated by Yessica “Kika” Chavez, WBC flyweight champion, in an impressive contest.
Vanesa Taborda also presented the 30 days weigh in, tipping 118 pounds on the scale; the weigh in was supervised by Carlos A. Rodriguez, FECONSUD President
