From WBC:
ZULINA FINE WITH NINE
World Boxing Council female super flyweight champion Zulina “Loba” Muñoz, is ranging far and wide outside home territory, hunting down a location for her ninth title defense, and her likely quarry will be Chihuahua, in July.
“Loba” who’s almost ready to pack, is loping to her training ground daily, referring herself to coaches Mauro and Lazaro Ayala.
“July in Ciudad Juarez is tentative, and the rival is about to be confirmed and if everything goes well it’ll be be the 9th defense of my belt,” said Loba, already scenting victory.
The champion snapped up her crown in November 2012, but since then she’s headed north. After her last fight on March 12th at Josué Nery Santos gym, in Ciudad Juarez, where she defeated Irish, Christina McMahon, by UD, she rested for two weeks before resuming her training routine.
